With the new release of the Wellness Extension Pack from The Happy Planner, we are all trying to figure out just how to utilize this extension pack, often alongside the Fitness Extension as well.
If you haven’t seen the Wellness Extension Pack yet, you can read more about it here. It is a vertical layout, meaning there are three rows of boxes for each day of the week.
It has taken me all of January and the first half of February to really nail down exactly how I want to use this. Alas, I think I have finally found planner peace within my Wellness Extension Pack.
Here is what I will be tracking:
- Spiritual / Mental Wellness
- Creative Wellness
- Daily Reflections
- Weekly Positive Affirmations
Let me show you the breakdown of how this will look in my Wellness planner.
Top Row | Spiritual / Mental Wellness
In the top row of boxes across the entire week, I will be tracking spiritual and mental wellness. Mental wellness will be things like reading, unplugging from electronics, listening to a morning podcast, etc.
Spiritual wellness will be things like meditating and, for me, tracking moon phases and when/what to work on my workbooks.
Middle Row | Creative Wellness
I love having a place to track my creative wellness activities. The middle row will help track creative activities such as planning days, One Little Word project days, lettering practice, and more. This space is for whatever and however I want to spend my creative time for that day.
Bottom Row | Daily Reflections
The bottom row is already outfitted with daily reflection prompts, so I will keep this as is and use it for daily reflections. I think it is so much fun to sit down at the end of the day, or even the next morning to reflect on ups and downs of each day.
One the sidebar, I plan to use all of the printed prompts and trackers except for one area. I plan to replace the weekly reflection prompt with a weekly positive affirmation to carry throughout the week. I just use a sticker to reuse this space. Otherwise, the sidebar is good to go, and really fun to fill in and track week over week!
I am really excited about using this extension pack to plan for planning in a way, and I am excited with this setup so far!
