These are a few of my favorite things….and you totally started singing along to that, didn’t you?!
I am so excited to kick off a new monthly series with you – My Favorite Things! At the end of each month, I will give you my top FIVE favorite things that I have been using over the course of the month. Planning-related or not, I thought it would be fun to share!
Let’s jump into my top FIVE favorite things for the month of July!
Micron Felt Pens | 005/.20
+ Why I Chose Them
These pens are AMAZING if you like a fine point pen. The felt tip is smooth to write with, and the thin point offers a fine line that you can write in the smallest of spaces, or even pack in as much writing into a small area without adding bulk to your writing.
+ What I Love About Them
These pens do not bleed through planner pages, nor do they offer any ghosting on the back of the page. They are reliable, and you can find them as a single pen or in packs of five. These pens are great for everyday writing and drawing!
+ Where You Can Get Them
You can pick up a set of these pens here, or at your local craft store.
Metal Discs | The Happy Planner
+ Why I Chose Them
These have been a game changer since adding them to my everyday planners. They are a little more expensive than their plastic counterparts, but the price is totally worth the reliability and durability of the metal. Beautiful and dependable, you can not go wrong!
+ What I Love About Them
I love the shimmer and shine that the metal discs offer versus the plastic discs. I know that I can use these discs without any worry or concern of any cracking or breaking. They are durable, and the planning pages turn smoothly without any snags.
+ Where You Can Get Them
You can pick up set of these discs at your local Michaels store, or online at The Happy Planner website.
Weekly Meal Planning Half Sheets | The Happy Planner
+ Why I Chose Them
These have sheets are extremely functional, offering a full week of meal planning on the front and a grocery checklist on the back. Fits the Classic size Happy Planners or can be folded to fit into your Mini.
+ What I Love About Them
I love using these half sheets to pre-plan our meals throughout the week. I will use a new half sheet in each of my weekly spreads, and then I transfer the meals from the half sheet to my meal plan section within my weekly spread. I love how functional and easy they are to use, and they are a quick addition to any planner.
+ Where You Can Get Them
You can pick up set of these half sheets here, at your local craft store, or online at The Happy Planner website.
Colorful Boxes Sticker Book | The Happy Planner
+ Why I Chose It
I chose this sticker book because anyone can use it in any planner spread. With various sizes and colors, you add these to highlight anything and everything within your planner pages. These colorful boxes are great for indicating appointments, special events, blocking off time in an hourly layout or simply add some to-dos. I think everyone should have at least one of these sticker books in their arsenal!
+ What I Love About It
I love how functional these box stickers are. In fact, I love them so much, I have TWO of these sticker books. I know, I know! I use these little boxes EVERY WEEK in my planner to indicate travel dates, key events or favorite moments. I like the clean and elegant look of the square corners rather than rounded corners, and I love how many colors are available.
+ Where You Can Get It
You can pick up this sticker book here, at your local Michaels store, or online at The Happy Planner website.
Traveler’s Notebook Wallet | Webster’s Pages
+ Why I Chose It
I use this TN wallet DAILY. Of course, it’s my everyday wallet, but it is SO FUNCTIONAL! I chose this as another favorite because I am head over heels with how easy it is to use. Being on the road, I needed to simplify, and by combining an OTG (on the go) planner with my wallet, it makes jumping from bag to bag much easier. You can see a full flip through and read more about the setup here.
+ What I Love About It
It’s so compact and multi-purposeful. With a wallet insert, a monthly calendar insert and an extra notebook for brain dumps, lists, etc. everything is always all together. I love tucking in my phone or receipts into the elastic until I can get a chance to pop the receipts into the zipper pouch, or put the phone in my bag. I also love being able to quickly grab this wallet by itself to do a quick run into any store.
+ Where You Can Get It
You can pick up this Traveler’s Notebook here, or online at the Webster’s Pages website.
